Affordable house and lot in the Philippines
Working in Manila may, on average, earn you about 15 to 20,000 Php per month—if you take half of that earning for 2-5 months, you got yourself a house and lot!
That’s how easy it is to get a house and lot from Lumina Homes in Plaridel, Bulacan, a development under Vista Land like Camella Properties.
OK, so you won’t get the titular house with just 40,000 bucks, but that’s all the down payment you’ll need to be able to take a house, remodel its interior to your liking, and life your dream (bachelor or family) life.
I’ve applied for a property about 8 months ago, expecting turn over before the end of 2015 and, I must say, the installment plan for paying the down payment (3,000Php per month for 15 months) is a little price to pay for a permanent investment. Right now, I’m just waiting for the turnover before I can move in and pay the remainder through PAGIBIG funding.
The thing is, I started paying for my house before the development and building ever began so I got it at pre-selling prices—the current pricing of the houses may rise depending on the demand and the rate of development. Still, an 800,000Php townhouse is still not a bad deal when you think hard about it, right?
We could always go around disposing our money on expensive food, new gadgets and nice clothes but no investment is like a long-term permanent investment and getting one for 400k from Lumina might be one of the best decisions in terms of prospective future betterment for myself and my future family.
